§ 15-10. Prohibited hours of operation.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to pursue the occupation of peddler, solicitor or itinerant vendor within the city except between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and one-half hour before sunset.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to participate in the direct solicitation, sale or offer for sale of any goods, wares, merchandise or other personal property or services from, or through the use of, a motor vehicle within 300 feet of a school zone during school zone hours. For purposes of this section, the term "direct" shall mean in person or face-to-face contact.

(c)

It shall be unlawful to for any person to pursue the occupation of peddler, solicitor or itinerant vendor at any time on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day.
