§ 9.5-1. Statutory authorization.

The Legislature of the State of Texas has in V.T.C.A., Water Code §§ 16.315 through 16.319, delegated the responsibility of local governmental units to adopt regulations designed to minimize flood losses. Therefore, the City Council of The Colony does ordain as follows.
