§ 2. Scope.

The provisions of this ordinance shall apply to all new residential development within the City of The Colony and all residential subdivisions within its extraterritorial jurisdiction after the effective date of the ordinance for which a final plat or preliminary final plat is required to be submitted to the city for approval in accordance with state law and the ordinances of the city.
