§ 5-11. Sale of animals.

(a)

[Restrictions.] It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or display for sale any animal on any parkway, parking lot, sidewalk, roadside, city park or easement.

(b)

Exemption. Any person who is acting as an officer, employee, or volunteer for an approved animal rescue organization or municipal animal shelter is exempt from this section and is subject to inspections at the discretion of an animal control officer.
